Mogbwemo Queens FC have climbed to the top of the league table after a convincing 4-0 victory over VEM Buck at the Coronation Ground in Bo. Nadie Quadi netted a brace, and Fatmata Turay and Saio Quaraishi also found the net for the home team, who remain unbeaten after three games.
FC Kallon Female continued their strong start to the season, defeating Rising Queens 2-1 to maintain their perfect record and move level on points with Mogbwemo Queens at the summit.
Patricia Umu secured their second win of the campaign, defeating Malema Queens 3-0 thanks to a brace from Isatu Tarawallie and a goal from Fatmata Kamara. Mena Queens were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Ascentonias, who earned their first point of the season.
With the title race shaping up to be an exciting one, the teams will be looking to maintain their momentum in the coming weeks as the battle for supremacy in the Sierra Leone women’s league continues.
