Sierra Leone’s Premier League had an unexpected result as Freetown City FC pulled off a 3-1 victory over the previously undefeated FC Kallon. Hendoven Tucker scored a brace for the visiting team, while David A. Conteh added another goal to seal the win. FC Kallon managed to equalize briefly through Saidu M. Kamara, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Freetown City FC from securing the three points.
Old Edwardians and Bhantal FC played out a 1-1 draw, while Wusum Stars fell 2-1 to Abacha City FC.
The result is a significant blow to FC Kallon’s title aspirations, as they suffered their first defeat of the season.
