Vice President Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh on Friday, 19 December 2025, stepped away from the formality of office to share a warm, human moment with staff of the Office of the Vice President during the end-of-year outing held at Yankia Resort at York, along the Peninsula.

The gathering, filled with laughter, music, and reflection, offered a rare chance for staff and leadership to connect beyond desks and schedules, celebrating a year of hard work and shared purpose.

From the moment he arrived, the Vice President blended easily with staff, greeting, listening, and sharing light moments that underscored a leadership style rooted in approachability.

His presence turned the outing into more than a social event; it became a moment of appreciation for the often unseen efforts of public servants who keep the wheels of governance moving.

VP Juldeh Jalloh was joined by the Minister of State, Office of the Vice President, Madam Manty Tarawallie, the Secretary to the Vice President, Mr Mohamed B. Daboh and other senior officials and dignitaries.

Their collective participation reinforced a spirit of unity and teamwork, breaking down hierarchy and reminding everyone that progress is built through collaboration at all levels.

In brief remarks, the Vice President commended staff for their dedication throughout the year, encouraging them to carry the same commitment into the new year. He emphasized the importance of balance recognizing that strong institutions are sustained not only by policy and performance, but also by morale, mutual respect, and shared moments like this.

As the sun set over the Freetown coastal area, the outing closed on a note of gratitude and renewed energy. For many in attendance, it was a simple yet powerful reminder that leadership is most impactful when it is human present, appreciative, and connected to the people it serves.
