Vice President Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has concluded a working visit to Ghana with a high-level courtesy meeting with his counterpart, Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, reaffirming the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and identifying new areas for cooperation, including gas, digitalization, mining logistics, and trade.
Dr. Juldeh Jalloh said the discussions reflected a shared commitment to practical partnerships that delivered results, noting that “Sierra Leone and Ghana have a long-standing relationship, and we are keen to deepen collaboration in sectors that can unlock growth and create jobs.”
Both leaders emphasized the importance of South-South cooperation and the role of the African Continental Free Trade Area in strengthening Africa’s economic integration.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang described AfCFTA as “a critical platform for Africans to trade with one another, add value to our resources, and accelerate development,” while Dr. Jalloh added that both countries would “work closely for the mutual benefit of our peoples and the broader advancement of the African continent.”
