Blackburn Rovers have signed Sierra Leone U-20 left winger Osman Kamara. The young winger, who previously was part of Arsenal’s youth setup, has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Riversiders, with an additional one-year option included in the contract.
Kamara, who impressed during a successful trial with the Championship club, brings with him a wealth of potential and international experience. The 19-year-old has already represented Sierra Leone at the U-20 level, and his addition to Blackburn’s.
“We’re delighted to welcome Osman to Blackburn Rovers,” said manager Valerien Alexandre Ismael. “He’s a highly-rated young talent with a bright future, and we believe he can make a real impact for us, both in the short and long term.
Kamara expressed his delight at joining the club, stating, “This is an exciting opportunity for me, and I can’t wait to get started.” Blackburn Rovers is a historic club with a great tradition, and I’m honoured to be a part of it. I’ll be giving my all to help the team achieve its goals this season and beyond.
