Sierra Leone Cricket named provisional 17-player squad ahead of the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup Division 2 Africa Qualifier, scheduled for March 6-15, 2026 in Kampala, Uganda.
The squad was chosen after a four-match trial process, and the players will undergo training throughout February before a final 14-member team is named.
Sierra Leone will face Malawi, Kenya, Mozambique, and Cameroon in the qualifier tournament, with the aim of securing a spot in the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup.
The provisional squad includes Ramatu Kamara, Hawa Kumba Kamara, Mary Kamara, Desmonda Coker, Katty Kamara, Mabinty Sama, Susan Sesay, Mariama Jalloh, Theresa Tommy, Ruth Ajabola, Isatu F. Sesay, Adama Kpundeh, Isatu A. Bah, Kadiatu Sawaneh, Isha K. Bangura, Christiana Lamin, and Kumba Mansaray.
