The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has successfully completed the CAF-certified D Diploma coaching course nationwide. Coaches from all five regions of the country have undergone this comprehensive training, equipping them with essential skills in modern coaching techniques, player safety, and tactical strategies.
The course was delivered in collaboration with expert instructors from the Liberia Football Association and supervised by SLFA Technical Director John Keister. This collaborative effort ensured that the coaches received world-class instruction and gained valuable insights to elevate the standard of football in Sierra Leone.
SLFA President Babadi Kamara emphasised the importance of coach education for the growth of the sport, stating, “Coach education is key to football development. By up skilling our coaches across the country, we are laying a strong foundation for the future of the game in Sierra Leone.”
The four CAF-accredited coach educators from the Liberia Football Association are Kesselee King Kanneh, Roberts N. Lartey, James Salinsa Debbah, and Sergeant Alhajee Omar Konneh.
