Three Premier League heavyweights have been knocked out of the National Orange FA Cup Round of 32. Luawa FC, Wusum Stars, and Kamboi Eagles, all prominent teams in Sierra Leone’s top flight, were sent packing from the FA Cup competition.
Luawa FC suffered a disappointing defeat against Marampa Stars in Lunsar, while Kamboi Eagles were beaten by Kabala City FC in their away fixture.
Wusum Stars were also on the receiving end of a loss, as they were overcome by Ram Kamara FC in Bo.
FC Kallon, Bo Rangers FC, Bhantal FC, Bai Bureh Warriors FC, Star Sports Academy, and Diamond Star all secured convincing victories to progress to the next round.
The early exits of the three Premier League teams have sent shockwaves through the football community, as these clubs were expected to make deep runs in the tournament.
The National Orange FA Cup is known for its unpredictability, and this year’s competition has already delivered some unexpected results.
