Independent presidential candidate Dr Alpha Grace has announced that the French edition of his book on Sierra Leone has reached 10,000 orders within 24 hours of release.
In a statement shared publicly, Dr Grace described the milestone as “more than a number,” calling it a strong signal of global interest in his ideas and work about the country.
He suggested that while some institutions within Sierra Leone may believe ignoring his voice could limit his influence, the international response shows a different reality. According to him, readers, scholars and leaders across different continents are engaging with and validating his message.

Dr Grace said the response proves that he is “not isolated” and that his voice continues to carry weight beyond national borders. He added that the growing attention reflects the relevance of his work, which focuses on leadership, ethics, and social transformation.
The social-criminologist and leadership consultant also thanked supporters who have contributed to the momentum, noting that the discussions sparked by the book are only just beginning.
The announcement comes at a time when political discourse in Sierra Leone is becoming more active, with emerging voices seeking to shape national conversations both locally and internationally.
