The head coach of Mogbwemo Queens, Adama Paulina Suma, has officially begun her participation at the prestigious TAFISA World Congress in Prague, Czech Republic, marking a significant milestone for Sierra Leonean women’s football.
The congress brings together sports leaders from over 100 countries, convening on the theme “Sport for All: Building Bridges for Inclusion, Equity, and Harmony” – a mission that resonates deeply with Suma’s groundbreaking work in Sierra Leone’s football landscape.
This international recognition comes on the heels of Mogbwemo Queens’ remarkable achievement of completing an entire season unbeaten under Suma’s leadership, a feat that has elevated both the team and their trailblazing coach to national prominence.
The TAFISA World Congress serves as a platform for advancing sport as a tool for social change, making Suma’s attendance particularly significant as she continues to break barriers as a female coach in African football.
