FC Kallon midfielder Mamoud Fofanah, affectionately known as “Lampard,” sustained a serious injury during a friendly match at the SLFA Academy. The match featured the home-based Leone stars squared off against Wilberforce Strikers FC.
Fofanah, a key player for FC Kallon, was injured during the course of the game. The extent of his injury is still unknown, but the club and medical staff are working diligently to ensure his speedy and full recovery.
In a separate development, Saidu, who also plays for Krootown Road Rangers, participated in the ongoing Central One Football Association Inter Champions League 2024 at the Parade Playing Field. However, Krootown Road Rangers were eliminated in the quarterfinal stage, falling to Aberdeen Community by a score of 1-0.
