The Sierra Leone Commercial Bank (SLCB) has announced the distribution of dividends to its shareholders following a strong financial performance in the fiscal year. During its Annual General Meeting (AGM), the bank declared significant payouts, with the Government of Sierra Leone, its major shareholder, receiving a dividend of NLe 59,732,242.2 million. The National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT), another key stakeholder, was awarded NLe 7,239,633.3 million.

SLCB’s decision to pay out dividends reflects its continued growth, profitability, and commitment to delivering value to shareholders. The bank highlighted improved financial services, increased customer confidence, and enhanced digital operations as factors contributing to its success.

Government officials and representatives from NASSIT commended the bank’s leadership for prudent management and reaffirmed their support for the institution’s future direction. SLCB remains one of Sierra Leone’s most trusted financial institutions, contributing significantly to national development.
