The Western Area division one side Tornado Football Club will travel to Bo City to face the defending champions of the Sierra Leone Premier League Bo Rangers Football Club who are also in intensive preparation for the 2022/2023 league season with the match scheduled for Saturday, October 22nd 2022 at the Bo Stadium at exactly 4:00 pm.

Anthony Kwasi Addai Chief Executive Officer of Tornado Football Club revealed to NewsFeed Sierra Leone that the essence of the encounter is to assess the strength of the team noting it is also part of the series of friendly matches the club will be engaging against top-tier teams “Tornado FC are embarking on such friendlies to see our level against the best teams in the land” he disclosed.

He further stated that the club believe in grooming players from the youth category and they are keen on the improvement of players over the results “We don’t have any new signings at the moment, we don’t go in for big names, we groom players from U15 and U17 levels… The result doesn’t matter as much as the performance, we always do our best to be competitive,” Addai concluded
