Vice President of Sierra Leone Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh has engaged the President and Prime Minister of Equatorial Guinea in an effort to strengthen bilateral ties and promote mutual development between Sierra Leone and the Equatorial Guinea.
Sierra Leone’s Vice President engaged the two most powerful state officials of Equatorial Guinea in separate engagements in which several development issues were discussed, like trade, security, governance, technology, and the economy.
“This morning I met with His Excellency President Umaro Mokhtar Sissoco Embaló as part of my two-day working visit to Guinea-Bissau. I also had a working lunch with Prime Minister Rui Duarte Barros, during which we engaged the press on our desire to strengthen cooperation through cultural and technical exchanges, security, and diplomacy training, amongst other opportunities. I thank President Embaló and his government for the fraternal hospitality. It’s been a great pleasure to be back in a city that holds many fond memories,” VP Jalloh wrote on X.
The Vice President later engaged the Sierra Leonean community in Bissau as Sierra Leonean residents in the country expressed appreciation to the Vice President for his humility and accommodating character while calling on government officials to emulate the exceptional leadership attributes of VP Jalloh.
