Augustine Williams, the talented young forward, has signed a one-year deal with the Pittsburgh club in the USL Championship. The 24-year-old comes to the Pennsylvania-based team after impressing in his previous stint with another USL side.
We’re thrilled to welcome Augustine to our club, said Pittsburgh’s head coach, Robert Bob Lilley. His pace, creativity, and eye for goal make him a valuable addition to our squad as we push for promotion this season.
Williams, who broke through at the professional level just a few years ago, is eager to take the next step in his career with Pittsburgh. This is a great opportunity for me, he said. The USL Championship is a competitive league, and I’m looking forward to helping Pittsburgh achieve their goals this year.
The young forward will look to make an immediate impact as Pittsburgh chase a top spot in the Eastern Conference standings. Fans are hopeful that Williams’ arrival can provide a much-needed boost to the team’s attacking options.
