Rabat, Tuesday, 11th February 2025: The Sierra Leone Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, His Excellency Alhaji Momodu Koroma, paid a courtesy visit to the Ambassador of Togo, His Excellency Messan Amakoe Klutse, at the Togo Embassy in Rabat, Morocco.
During the visit, Ambassador Klutse warmly welcomed his counterpart to the Togo Chancery. Ambassador Koroma expressed his gratitude for Togo’s support for Sierra Leone at the regional level, particularly in the signing of the 1999 Lomé Peace Agreement, which played a significant role in Sierra Leone’s path to peace and stability.
In his response, Ambassador Klutse reaffirmed Togo’s commitment to strengthening the long-standing bilateral ties between the two countries in the years ahead. The visit ended with the exchange of pleasantries, highlighting the mutual respect and friendship between Sierra Leone and Togo.
