The Dama Yannie Ruling House has released a public statement to correct what it says are “misunderstandings” about the true lineage and leadership of one of Sierra Leone’s oldest ruling families.
The statement, signed by Hon. Lahai Lawrence Lima-Yannie Jr., aims to set the historical record straight and confirm who is recognised as the rightful heir of the Dama Yannie authority.
