The F and A Continental Training Centre, launched in April 2023, aims to provide skill-building courses for school dropouts and those seeking employability in the Lungi Masoila Kafu Bullom community. Programs include tailoring, computer hardware and software training, catering, hairdressing, electrical installations, and plumbing.

Founder Abu West Bangura says, “The lack of after-school training opportunities motivated me to establish this center.” The community’s response has been positive, with support from local stakeholders and students.

“The response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive,” Bangura added. The center’s goal is to produce a skilled workforce to support government programs. “This project supports younger generations in harnessing their skills,” he emphasized.

General Manager Alusine Bangura praises the CEO’s initiative, saying, “It’s a great honour to work with him on this wonderful initiative supporting young people in our community.”

Community stakeholders Pa Alhaji Fofana and Pa Alimamy Taylor welcome the development, calling on the government to upgrade the institution. “We are happy, proud, and excited about this development,” they said.

Students praise the center’s efforts. Ramatu Sesay says, “I’ve learned a lot of skills and gained knowledge thanks to F and A Continental Training Centre.” Ibrahim Turay adds, “I’ve learned how to measure and cut new materials for dressmaking.” Memunatu Kamara hails the institution’s learning environment.

The necessary paperwork on the centre is still ongoing from NCTVA, and the aim is to support the government’s flagship education programmes.
