Debutant Bo Rangers were knocked out of the CAF Champions League after suffering a 3-0 defeat to the CR Belouizad from Algeria at the Stade du 8-Mai-1945 stadium.

Both teams played to a goalless draw in the first leg in Liberia`s SKD stadium a week ago in Monrovia

Bo Rangers who were first-timers in the competition were hoping to stun their host, but the Algerian Champions were the better side of the day.

A brace from Karim Aribi in the 86th and 90th minutes complete the home side victory before it was Mouad Hadda who had the opener scoring in the 34th minutes of the first half.

Bo Rangers were without their new signing from FC Kallon Abu Bakarr Suma (Lucio) due to injury concern.

The Buffles du Borgou, Benin also suffered a 4:0 aggregate home and away defeat with the Cavaliers of Sierra Leone, FC Kallon on their return leg match in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League Preliminary Round

2022/2023.The match took place at the newly renovated SKD sports complex in Monrovia, Liberia.

FC Kallon had their first away encounter with the The Buffalos of Benin which resulted to a positive 1:0 defeat in favour of FC Kallon.

In their return leg at the Samuel Kanyon Doe stadium, FC Kallon was able to secure 3:0 win against their rivals. This made a total aggregate of 4:0 defeat on the Les Buffles du Borgou.

With outstanding performance from FC Kallon players, Alie Conteh popularly known as Nzonzi came out to be exceptional in the pitch as he became the goal machine of the team. Alie Conteh (Nzonzi) scored his first goal first hat-trick as FC Kallon proceeds to the second rounds of the Total Energies CAFCL

Congratulations Cavaliers

FC Kallon will be playing against debutants Future FC in the CAF Confederation Cup 2nd round next month.

The Egyptian side scored a late free-kick from full-back Jonathan Ngwem, to scrape a 1-0 home win over 10-man Bul FC of Uganda.
