Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) President Babadi Kamara attended a crucial meeting of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Morocco, highlighting the country’s commitment to actively engaging in the continent’s football landscape.
The high-level meeting, convened by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, was attended by leaders from CAF’s 54 Member Associations. The discussions focused on key aspects of governance, competitions, policy direction, and the overall development of football in Africa.
Kamara’s participation underscores Sierra Leone’s desire to strengthen its role within CAF and contribute to the growth of the sport on the continent.
The recent AFCON final, which showcased Africa’s rising global football influence, has further bolstered the country’s determination to play a more prominent role in the continental football ecosystem.
Sierra Leone aims to leverage its position within CAF to drive positive change, foster collaborative initiatives, and ensure the nation’s voice is heard in shaping the future of African football.
