At a well attended ceremony, the Mount Aureol Community Organization through its Diaspora wing in the UK and USA on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 donated Fifty (50) Chairs and Desks to the UMC Ginger Hall School at the Mount Aureol Community in Freetown.
Presenting the items, the home-based Chairman, Mr. Abdul Karim Tarawally and team in Freetown lauded the school authorities for doing well at these trying times and encouraged them to continue their good work. He pointed out that the donation is to foster the education system in the school.

In her keynote address, the Head teacher, Miss Yankee expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to the sponsors describing the donations as very timely. “We hope to receive more help from our brothers and sisters living in the Diaspora” she added.
The Deputy Head Teacher Mrs. Martin and the kids also lauded the UK and USA branch for such wonderful gestures to the school. They appealed for more help.

It could be recalled that the organization had been pursuing other development strides especially in addressing the urgent need of pure drinking water.
The organization has already donated two ten thousand litres water tanks, one for the school and the other for the community. Both of these projects are nearing completion.

The organisation is also looking at welfare issues partaining to its members and also to ensure that they take the community football team to a higher height.
