Sierra Leonean defender Abdulai Juma Bah celebrated a memorable night at the Allianz Riviera as OGC Nice booked their place in the Coupe de France final with an emphatic 2-0 victory over Strasbourg in Wednesday’s semifinal clash.
The 20-year-old full-back, who has been instrumental in Nice’s cup run this season, played a crucial role in keeping a clean sheet as Les Aiglons dominated proceedings from start to finish.
Nice’s clinical finishing in both halves proved the difference, with goals that sent the home crowd into raptures.
“This is a dream come true,” Bah said after the match. To reach the final of such a historic competition with this amazing team and these incredible fans is something special. We’re not done yet – we want to lift that trophy.
